This policy explains what information CogniScripts collects, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted. It covers our website, the phone calls we place to businesses, the text messages we send, and the demo bookings we take.
CogniScripts sells an AI phone answering and booking assistant to HVAC contractors. Our contacts are businesses and the people who answer the phone for them. We are not an advertising company, we do not run a data business, and we have nothing to gain from moving your information anywhere else.
The short version. We collect business contact details and recordings of the sales calls we place. We use them only to talk to you about our service and to schedule a demo. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. No mobile information, including text messaging opt in data and consent, is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Email outreach@cogniscripts.com

This information comes from public business listings and directories, from the business's own website, or directly from you during a call, an email, or a booking.
Outbound calls that we place are recorded. The recording is disclosed at the beginning of the call. We keep the audio recording and a written transcript of the call. Where the call includes a spoken agreement to receive text messages, that portion of the recording is also our record of your consent.
If you agree on a call to receive a text message from us, we store your mobile or business phone number, the messages sent and received, delivery status, and timestamps. If you opt out, we keep a record of the opt out so that we can honor it.
If you book a call with us, we collect the name, email address, phone number, time zone, and any notes you enter on the booking form.
This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and loads nothing from third party servers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and time of request, for security and reliability.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this website, and we do not collect government identifiers, health information, or any special categories of personal data.
We use the information above for these purposes and no others:
We do not use your information for automated decisions with legal effects, for profiling for advertising, for credit or insurance decisions, or for any purpose beyond selling and delivering the service described on this site. We do not use call recordings or transcripts of your calls to train models for anyone outside CogniScripts.
CogniScripts does not sell, rent, trade, or license personal information to anyone. We do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We do not provide it to data brokers, list vendors, lead resellers, or advertising networks.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your mobile number, the consent you gave on a recorded call, and your text message history stay with CogniScripts.
The only exception is the sharing needed to deliver the service itself: information may be passed to the subcontractors that support our operation, such as our telephony and messaging provider, solely so that the message you asked for can be sent to you. Those providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own marketing. Consent to receive text messages is never shared onward for any other purpose.
We are a small business and we use established providers to run the parts of our operation we do not build ourselves. Each of them only receives the information needed to perform its function, and each acts on our instructions:
We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, by valid legal process, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that business, and this policy will continue to apply to it until you are told otherwise.
We respond to requests within 30 days. There is no charge. We do not require an account, and we will not treat you differently for making a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We apply the choices above to everyone who asks, regardless of location.

Access to call recordings, transcripts, and contact records is limited to CogniScripts personnel who need it to do the work. Accounts with our providers are protected with strong, unique credentials and multi factor authentication where it is offered. Data sent between us and our providers travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise, but we keep the amount of information we hold small on purpose.
Our service is sold to businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes to how we use text message data will be reflected here and in our SMS Terms and Conditions before they take effect.
